Memorial for Gryffin, The Brave Welsh Terrier Who Battled Bladder Cancer

Gryffin Welsh Terrier grassI was saddened to learn that a lovely Welsh Terrier patient of mine, Gryffin, recently succumbed to bladder cancer (Transitional Cell Carcinoma= TCC). I got to know Gryffin as my patient thorugh Veterinary Cancer Group (link to vetcancergroup.com) and strove to holistically complement his chemotherapy. Gryffin’s dad wrote the following memorial which I’d like to share and have you do so with other pet lovers. – “Gryffin, my sweet, loving Welsh Terrier, lost his battle with bladder cancer and passed peacefully on December 30, 2014.  He was almost 14 years old.  Gryffin loved unconditionally, and never met anyone he didn’t try to befriend and kiss.  He loved to cuddle, and swim, and chase balls.  He loved his family and friends (canine and human).  Gryffin was one of the most handsome dogs I ever saw, buy that reality never went to his head.  He is missed, and will forever be missed. Thanks, Peter”
