Although we're heading from summer into fall, many parts of the country are still affected by high temperatures. Southern California is one of those places, as the autumn months can yield some of the warmest weather all year. It's crucial that pet owners plan ahead to keep their canine and feline companions safe from heat-related health hazards year round. Life-threatening ailments can quickly occur if your pet is kept or exercise in toasty climates.
