Canine & Feline Arthritis Origins, Clinical Signs, Diagnosis, Treatment, and Prevention

My patient Hudson receives electrostimulation acupuncture for arthritis pain relief
Are you aware that pets develop age-related conditions that can affect their overall quality of life just like people?
Arthritis is one of the most-common ailments we veterinarians diagnose in our canine and feline patients. Arthritis can limit a pet's comfort, joint range of motion, and mobility and can even cause clinical signs like lethargy, decreased appetite, behavior changes, and others.
Understanding arthritis and striving to prevent it from happening or managing it in a manner that reduces a pet's reliance on pain medications having potentially sever side effects is my recommendation for my patients.
