Dr. Patrick Mahaney Partners with JetSetVets to Offer In-Flight Veterinary Care

March 4, 2013

gI_92717_DR CINDY BRESSLERI am pleased to announce my partnership with Blue Star Jets and New York City/Hamptons house call veterinarian, Dr. Cindy Bressler, in an exclusive and unique veterinary practice; JetSetVets, the first private jet service capable of providing in-flight medical care for pets.

As the west coast director of JetSetVets, I will facilitate the documentation and transportation of pets departing from California on domestic or international journeys.  When needed, I can accompany Blue Star Jets’ clients and their companion canines or felines to provide in-flight medical care.  Additionally, I’ll work with veterinary hospitals on a global basis to transfer my patients’ care upon reaching their destination.

Besides helping my clients with the travel component of their pet’s needs, I also provide veterinary services in the Los Angeles area on a house call basis through my practice California Pet Acupuncture and Wellness (CPAW), Inc. or in-facility at the Veterinary Cancer Group.

As my unique approach integrates eastern and western medical perspectives, I strive to focus on holistic health enhancements through:

  • Weight management (exercise, whole food diets, etc.)
  • Environmental modification (pet-safe homes and yards, etc.)
  • Acupuncture treatment (needles, MultiRadiance laser, acupressure, etc.)
  • Western medications (anti-inflammatory drugs, pain medications, antibiotics, etc.)
  • Nutraceuticals (omega fatty acids, joint support products, antioxidants, etc.)
  • Chinese herbs (pet-specific and non-China products)
  • Laboratory diagnostics (blood, urine, and fecal testing)

JetSetVets is also concerned about worldwide animal welfare and will be donating a portion of flight booking fees to charity.

Congratulations! Not only does this sound like a wonderful opportunity, you just might be able to take a few extra days and have an unexpected vacation.

One never knows where it could take me (or Dr. Cindy Bressler).
Perhaps once the pet reaches its destination, the flight back will be more “vacation-esque”.
