Have you heard of BlogPaws? If not, you should be aware of this impressive gathering of individuals and organizations committed to promoting awareness of pet health and welfare issues through the use of media. BlogPaws is a great educational and networking opportunity for animal-centric writers, devotees of canine and feline rescue, hosts of radio or television shows, and producers of Hollywood feature films.
2012 was my third time attending BlogPaws and my first time presenting (and Cardiff’s first accompaniment). Lucky Dog Cuisine’s Dr. Janice Elenbaas and I traveled to Salt Lake City, UT and co-presented on our experiences developing businesses based on our professional interests and beliefs. SlideShare hosts our full presentation: 5 Steps to Building Your Brand as a Reflection of Your Principles.
BlogPaws is also a fun experience, as you get the rare chance for real life face time with your fellow pet media cohorts. Additionally, cool companies like PetSmart, Walk In Sync, Doodie Pack, pet360, and others share novel products and models for information sharing.
Cardiff, Janice, and I took advantage of the complimentary Bret Michaels pet accessories provided by Pet Smart. I think Cardiff looks the perfect combination of tough and teddy in his pleather biker jacket.
Needless to say, I’m honored to become a BlogPaws board member and look forward to both presenting and shaping the curriculum for BlogPaws 2013 (Tysons Corner, VA) and beyond.

Great post, Patrick. Always a pleasure to work alongside such a guru like you. Janice is awesome, too. Cardiff, well, he has my heart
Couldn’t think of a better person for the BlogPaws board! You will certainly be a valuable contributor!!!
Cardiff and Bret Michaels – what a perfect combination!
I confess two things: 1) I’m a closet Celebrity Apprentice fan and 2) before Celebrity Apprentice, I had no idea who Bret Michaels was.
Throughout the competition, I gained a lot of respect for Bret Michaels as a person. If any of my critters ever show an affinity for his products, I’ll happily buy them!
This past year was my first BlogPaws event. I had the most wonderful time and felt like part of the “pack” the moment I arrived! I am looking forward to next year all ready!
I attended the presentation that Dr. Elenbaas, and Dr. Mahaney prepared, and believe in their missions! I am a huge fan of both! We follow Dr. Mahaney’s veterinary advice and my dogs are fed Lucky Dog Cuisine. We bring “Cardiff Crunchies” with us on our daily adventures, along with our Troff pouches too!
Cheers to Phil-you are amazing!! Kissed to Cardiff!

Thank you Carol! I’m psyched that we are on the same team to help pets through BlogPaws and other media ventures!

Thank you Rebecca. I hope that exposure through BlogPaws can also help pet360 to continue to grow.

Thank you!
Cardiff was a good sport in modeling the Bret Michaels clothing and accessories.
Were you aware of Bret Michaels’ role in “Rock of Love”, that was a trampy hoot (at least what I saw of it on The Soup).
