My dads took me on a fun trip to Laguna Nigel where I got to stay at a super hotel called the St. Regis (see Four Paws Up Is My Rating for St Regis Monarch Beach). As I am a Welsh Terrier and require frequent activity, my dads get me out for exciting excursions where I often meet new dogs. On a particularly overcast and cool July day, I met an awesome Basenji named Rusty.
The Basenji is a unique breed that always commands attention from dog aficionados all over the world. Don’t our colors complement each other nicely? I tend to get along best with dogs around Rusty’s size, so we readily hit it off and are best barking buddies (BBBs).
I hope that my dad will be able to have Rusty (not that I am wishing him “ill will”) as one of his acupuncture patients so that I can take another trip down to Laguna and hang out with Rusty for some more canine carousing. As I am healthy and my IMHA (Immune Mediated Hemolytic Anemia) is in remission, I am traveling regularly again!
